How often should you eat dessert when dieting? I want to lose weight, but I love sweet treats and tend to have them every day. Could I have, say, 90 calorie frozen yogurt every day or would that hurt my dieting? Sometimes I even have fruit.

Best alcoholic beverages for someone who is dieting? I am dieting but still like to go out drinking every week. What are the best drinks to order that are a little lower in calories so I don't completely sabbotage my diet?
What can we do individually to change societies unhealthy views on dieting? Do you think that a hundred years from now these extreme dieting pursuits will be viewed in much the same way as the Elizabethan beauty ideals of receding the woman's hairline, Victorian cinching in the waist, so internal organs are damaged or do not function, or the footbinding. These are all beauty standards that endanger the health and functioning of women. Overeating is also a problem but that was not the question.
How much protein should an adult consume in a day when dieting? I am dieting and consuming appx. 1400 cals a day, keeping the good carbs (mostly from good vegies) under 60 and consuming appx.170 in protein (chicken, turkey, cheese, etc). How do you lose hip and abdominal weight with dieting and exercise? Hi! I am 5'1" and weigh 110 lbs. which isn't horrible. What should my goal for one month of dieting be? Im setting up a chart for myself to keep me from giving up on dieting, and I want to set up a reasonably high goal to aim for in terms of weight loss. What is a healthy amount of weight to lose in the course of ONE MONTH. For extra details, im 14 (turning 15 in two months), I weigh between 164-170lbs, Im on my school swimteam in which we swim over 4000yds every practice (6 practices per week + meets on thursdays) and I also plan on fitting running for 15 minutes into my schedule at least every other day. I dont eat junk food or fast food, but I eat a lot of things like crackers and popcorn, which I will be giving up for more fruits and veggies. I dont eat much dairy, just skim milk, and I only eat whatever meat my parents cook (which is always healthy, since my parents are very health concious) Some of my fat is probably also muscle (im a black belt in karate) and I also play a lot of DDR. A lot of info to swallow, but any advice? I also drink a lot of coffee (yes, I know how unhealthy that is for growth at my age ^^;), but I plan to switch that out with green tea.

How to remove body weakness after dieting? Guys, I was on a strict diet for about 3 months and I lost about 15 kgs. But during the later phase of my slimming,I reduced exercise as well as food. I used to fat but active, but in the last 20 days, I developed weakness. How do I break the cycle of yo-yo dieting? I've lost the same 50 pounds about seven times. I'm a pro at losing it, but I always gain it back. While dieting, are sugar free energy drinks significantly less destructive than regular? I’ve heard in passing that despite being labeled as “diet”, and having 0 calories listed under the nutritional facts, diet sodas aren’t all that much better than regular sodas. Dieting...........? **Firstly I know that you should not starve yourself when dieting** A few weeks ago I was off my food. I was trying to cut down so this did not bother me. This went on for a couple of days. Saying this I did eat but not the usual amount. When I got my hunger back I was eating anything. And I just wanted to eat. Could anyone help me just telling things thats good about a good a healthy diet?? This is what I said so far.. I think that my diet is wonderful because I get a lot of protein, vegetables, whole grains, and fruits. I know using this nutrition log would let me live a great life and a healthy one to. I know that in my diet I’m getting everything that I need that will keep me in great health and make me feel alert and not tired all the time. dieting??? what's a good diet for me? i am 14 and about 120 lbs. :( i would like to lose some of that weight. i do not eat very many vegetables, i have not tried many vegetables. i am not sure i could convince myself to. i eat corn, raw carrots, peas, and occasionally raw green beans. i love fruit. it is also very hard for me because i live in a house where there's a lot of junk food around. my mom is trying to gain weight. which makes me mad. i am starting to do crunches everyday. i also stretch everyday (straddle and stuff). i can't go out for a jog because my mother thinks it's "too dangerous" to go on my own. dieting..??? last year i went just about anorexic and was talking in about 400 -600 calories a day for quite a while..i lost about 25 pounds, and then i started eating healthy, meaning 1200-1500 calories a day spread out over 5 meals. a few months later, i started gaining back weight cause i started taking in a lot more calories than my body needs. i became panicked and then tried to lower my calorie intake back to 400 a day. i couldnt put up with that again, so now im back on the 1200 calorie a day diet (which, i should mentioned, was still making me lose weight the first time i went back to it). my question is, if my metabolism still allowed me to lose weight on 1200 the first time after my anorexic period, am i still able to take in 1200 calories and lose weight or was my severe suppression of calories the second time around the final straw? basically, am i gonna gain weight?

Dieting...? Kay so...im on a diet. I lost about 20-30 pounds im about 130-140 i dont eat junkfood anymore (Only once out of 2-5 months) i take about 200-700 cals at most days im a calorie counting nut Everyday I run,walk do crunches but i want to lose more weight. I cant go to a gym cause its too much No i dont wana take any crazy pills too

Do you think books on dieting and exercising are a waste of time and money? high protein,low-fat,low-carb,4-6small meals a day. and work hard in the gym. I looked on amazon and there are hunders of thousands of books that have to do with dieting. It just seems useless to read all these books. Does anyone agree with me?
is it possible to get fatter while ur dieting and exercising? i have been dieting and doing strenuous exercise for at least an hour and a half a day frothe past week. i have lost 6 pounds according to the scale, however my clothes feel tighter. i have been doing about 85% cardio to burn the fat and maybe 15% weight training. i feel like im getting fatter although the scale says i have lost. i am NOT pregnant either. so whats up with this? is it all in my head? how long, on avg, does it take b4 u actually SEE results? AND i have NO thyroid or any other health problems except for being over weight.
