Reserves to Active 88m to 11b? Ok so it all started like this... I needed a battalion waiver approved so a first sgt and captain came to meet me. I did a urine test for them and they asked me what my intentions were. I told them that right now because I scored a 45 on the asvab I was gonna restest to try and get the 50 for active duty. Well they did a good job convincing me to go reserves and they will get me into active. So at meps I signed up for 88m not caring what job I got, figured I like driving so why not plus I aint gonna be in reserves for long. My best friend just told me that 88m is a critical job right now and I might get stuck with it when I go active. I want 11b when I go active and am now thinkin of changing my mos to something else before I ship out on the 16th for basic. Are active duty war zone military personnel taxed while being active overseas? I understand that when active duty in Iraq, there are many bonuses added to pay from being in active war zone, etc.. There is a "bonus" if you will, added for each category the soldier falls under. My question is that I want to know that if an active duty military personnel is in Iraq, are they taxed on their wages and if not, then what happens when they file taxes the following tax year? How can they file taxes on wages that were not taxable? If an E7 is doing a tour of duty overseas for a full calendar year, this means they are strictly active duty military....how does this work?

Active Ankle? just out of curiosity, what do people think about active ankle supports? some coaches love them and want their players to use them while others hate them and wont let their players play. i injured my ankle earlier this year and ever since its been a little weaker. i only use one active ankle. its on my right ankle. i tend to bend my ankle to keept from going over the center line when setting a tight ball. Baby is so active ...? I am almost 8mths. The child feels like an alien hes so active. It feels like hes gonna crack the shell and pop out. Question about active labor!? Now i myself am not pregnant, I had my baby in April, My sister in law is due in Aug. Now with her last baby she was always over exagerating and every day saying she was in labor, went to the hospitol about 10 times before the real thing. Anywho she is sched to have a c-sec in the 29th, she has already gone in twice, she said the last time she was having contractions and she SAID they told her she was in active labor, but yet sent her home. Now her Dr told her that she wanted a csection done before going into active labor. Now i just want to make sure, dont you have to be dialated to a 4 before considered active labor? Dont you think she would have had to stay to have the c-section if she was infact in active labor? My husband (her bro) is worried about her, im trying to explaine to him she is just over reacting. Directdraw error/spyware/active desktop issue? Had a spyware yesterday, finally managed to get rid of it, now i got a different 1 always popping up some stupid website with spyware scan, and now my active desktop isnt working, and now my direct draw isnt working either and cant play, even tough i've reinstalled my video card driver, directx, did everything suggested i found on the net.
