- Who told you that?
- They can't play sports when they're having a baby.
- huh
- I think women should play sports.
- I'm a woman, I play sports, as does my older daughter. The younger daughter is only 2, but she will begin soccer training at 3. Who says its improbable that women play sports? It's highly probable that any given woman on the street will have played sports at some point.
- Women play all kinds of sports. Why would you say they dont?
- This is sexist. Girls are just as good and sometimes better than boys at sports. We are more graceful, stronger willed, and better losers than men.
- Dear Caveman, Welcome to the 21st century where women have the right to vote, have a career, drive cars, own businesses, pilot aircraft, get credit cards on their own, drink alcohol, pay taxes and last but not least.....play sports.
- It isn't, in fact women do play sports. However, the knock is that they can not play at the level men play at. I don't think that is the correct assumption, some women could woop some guys in sports, but the generalization is that men play at a higher level.
- It isnt, if this is a man asking, women can do anything men can. SOmetimes its not safe, such as when they are pregnant. Otherwise, women can play simple sports such as skiing, to more rough sports such as rugby
- you can play sports who ever said that is stupid
- I think watching women sports is about the sexiest thing out there (especially tennis and beach volleyball). Girls with muscle turn me on. Let me rephrase that. Girls with muscle turn me on while women that are bodybuilders turn me off.
- Women have equal rights in everything these days everyone has the rigth, i like watching all typys of sports its healthy, my girlfriend is a wrestler, dont mess with her.
- You probably believe all we're good for is making baby's too.
- Improbable!?!? Have you never seen mud or jello wrestling!? Or or or Roller derbies?
- Because there are hundreds of years of tradition across our western culture of women being largely not allowed to be athletic, except in a very few low impact sports. Women today have barely 2 generations where it hasnt been considered strange and freakish to participate in high impact sports. Individuals can change their minds fairly quickly and easily compared to whole cultures. Ours is like a train that is slowly being made to veer toward a new track. That new track is new generations. When enough new generations have grown up accepting women in sports, it will no longer seem improbable.
- Where,I mean in what part of the world do you live? I don't mean that Sarcastically, but every day for the past week or so ESPN2 has devoted thier coverage to the WOMENS NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS every evening. In fact almost every day there are telecasts of women in some kind of sport.
- its not from what i know
