How long after I take the last active pill do I get my period ?

I just started taking the birth control pill and I finished the last active pill on Sunday. It's Tuesday and i haven't got my period yet. I am sexually active and I'm worried that I might be pregnant, how soon after the last active pill is my period supposed to come?

1. That happened to me the first time too, I didn't get my period untill three days into my peach (non active) pills. If you don't get it soon take a pregnancy test to be sure. Good Luck! =0) Also if you are sexually active I hope you were using a back up method the first month like condoms, and if you didn't I suggest you take that pregnancy test.
2. I found that like the last poster that my period would come with the 3rd or 4th inactive pill when I was taking them (this was long before I had endometriosis).
3. Well if you have just started taking birth control pills, it can take months to regulate in a normal pattern, and more time to pinpoint the day in the inactive week that your period will start. The first couple of years I was on a certain pill and I got it the first 3 days of inactive pills, I recently switched pills and now I get it only the last 3-4 days of inactive pills. I would not get worried just yet, wait the 7 inactive days, and if you still don't get it, take a test and, of course, call your gyno.
